Parent, Teacher & Friends Association
The parent, teacher and friends association was formed to help the school raise extra funds to improve the facilities and opportunities for pupils.
Our last big project was to fund the outdoor classroom/shelter in the KS1 playground. We had the daunting task of raising just over £10,000 which we succeeded in doing in just over 2 years of very busy fund raising!
We have raised £3000 to enable our new Learning Resource Centre to stock up with new library books as well as donating over £1000 to the sports department to buy tracksuits with our school name and logo emblazoned on them. These are used at the many sporting events that Cliftonville Primary children compete at.
We also bought new toys and books for the Family Room as well as all the items that we pay out for on an annual basis. These include, reading bags for reception, leaving presents for Year 6 and the selection boxes that each child receives at the end of this term.
Over the coming months we will be holding discos for Years 1 & 2, Years 3 & 4 and Year 6. We will also be running the ever popular Mothers Day Market, Easter Egg competition and raffle, Sponsored Walk and Summer Fayre.
